Countrywide probably has the best CD rates on their Jumbo certificates, with rates ranging from 5.00% to 5.40% on their Jumbo CDs. The reason their rates are so high is because they need to attract more deposits. However with their recent lending problems, it may not be wise to put too much money into a Countrywide CD, as they are only FDIC insured up to $100,000.
